Daz Dillinger(Dat Nigga Daz)は、幼い頃から従兄弟であったSnoop Doggといっしょに育った。
彼の経歴は、 Rapper/ProducerとしてDeath Row Recordsとの契約したことに始まる。
Dr.Dreを除けば、過去のDeath Row ﾚｰﾍﾞﾙではﾒｲﾝﾌﾟﾛﾃﾞｭｰｻｰであったといえる。
メジャーに顔をだすようになったのは、Dr.DreのアルバムThe Chronic収録のDeeeeez Nutsで客演参加(Dat Nigga Daz名義)したことから始まる。
その後、KuruptとThe Dogg Poundを結成する。
95年にThe Dogg Pound名義でアルバムDogg Foodをリリースする。
その後Dr.DreのDeath Row Records離脱により、Death RowをSound面で支えることになる。
98年には、ソロデビューアルバムRetaliation,Revenge And Get Backをリリースする。
その後2000年には、Death Row Recordsを離れ、D.P.G Recordsから2ndアルバムR.A.W.をリリースする。
2002年には3rdアルバムThis Is The Life I Leadをリリースしている。
続く2003年には、4thアルバムYou Know What I'm Throwin Upをリリースする。
